With its highly polished circular form and undulating surface Natus Pendant is an expression of perfection and imperfection that invites the evocation of a personal story.
Jewellery designer Jenny Sweetnam imagines the intangible and physical maternal bond immortalised in this solid gold pendant.
Each order is completely bespoke and the form created reveals both a childās distinct fingertip shape and deliberately unrefined surface qualities born of the designers hand casting technique. The tactile contours of a fingertip realised in relief, invite connection through touch and the elongated bail with its weighty chain define a modern silhouette.
The pendant design invites you to order a suitable configuration , between 1 and 3 fingertip forms can be suspended from the elongated bail. (Please get in touch for multiples beyond 3). The chain/bail aspect can be omitted from the design in which case configuration of fingertip forms onto an existing chain is possible.

Materials
Solid 9 carat yellow gold, fairtrade. UK hallmarked.
Dimensions
Circular fingertip form – 10mm x 2.5mm. Bail – 25mm. Chain (if selected in your order above) is 45cm.
Engraving
On the reverse side the childās initials are inscribed directly by the designer. This detail is offered complimentary without charge and can be specified on the instruction form you will receive.
After ordering
Once ordered, you will be contacted via email and posted out a wooden case enclosing the materials and instructions needed to record your child/s fingertip/s and then please return to the studio. Subsequently it will take 4 weeks to create. All details are clarified in confirmatory email dialogue.
Design alterations and enquiries
All enquiries and questions are warmly welcome. Design alteration requests e.g. different chain length and different metal finesse can be accommodated. Further circular Natus forms can be added into your pendant formation later on in time at the studio. Please write to hello@studionatus.com
